These Millionaires Want to Tax the Rich, and They're Lobbying Working-class Voters

Anderson said he hopes that Whiteville’s residents feel that he and his team did a “fair job” of reflecting their town in the documentary. “I didn’t want to make a film that folks in Whiteville didn’t recognize,” he said. “I wanted people to be able to recognize themselves and their town in this film.”

“The next step is an organizing dinner with them where we talk about ways they can engage their neighbors and community,” she mentioned this week.

They’ve been giving seminars in Richland Center about how we as citizens can help to improve things for the average working family.

About a year ago, I got a flier in the mail about a Patriotic Millionaires informational meeting. Lured by the free food, I went and learned it was a group of millionaires who thought they should be taxed more, and were exposing all the tax loopholes they, and other millionaires were using to not pay their fair share of taxes, and often paid taxes at a lower rate than someone working a blue-collar job…
